Terms of service

Important caveat

Essay Atelier provides commissioned research and writing projects upon request — structure, outlines, literature reviews, research papers, chapters, articles, and related written materials produced to your brief, in the same way a freelance writer produces work for a client. We do not encourage, assist, or participate in breaking institutional, professional, or legal rules.

You alone decide how to use any output. You are responsible for complying with any policies, applicable law, and rules that govern your work. If those rules prohibit submitting third-party writing as your own, you must not do so.

1. Service

Essay Atelier is a bespoke research-and-writing service. Against a brief you submit, each quoted consultation applies research and writing to produce defined project output (for example structure and outlines, literature reviews, research papers, chapters, articles, or statements), delivered through your dashboard.

The service is commissioned research and writing for client briefs. We do not sit exams, submit work to institutions on your behalf, or guarantee grades or other outcomes beyond the agreed deliverable.

Delivery follows a consultation model: quotation → onboarding fee → Foundation review → two to five quoted consultations. Each consultation includes prepared incremental document output (the final consultation delivers the consolidated final output). Each consultation follows booking → delivery → your review. The next consultation becomes bookable only after you accept the previous output.

You may submit your brief in any language. Site pages, quotations, correspondence, and deliverables are provided in English only.

2. Nature of the deliverable

Output is commissioned project work supplied for your use as you see fit within the law and your applicable rules. We provide a writing service whose outputs include structure, research materials, and written deliverables; we do not provide a service of circumventing rules, concealing authorship where disclosure is required, or guaranteeing undetectability.

3. Your responsibilities

You confirm that:

  • you will use our output only in ways that comply with applicable law and with any institutional or professional rules that govern your work;
  • you alone decide what to do with the work — including whether and how to adapt, cite, or refrain from using it;
  • you will provide accurate brief information (criteria, constraints, deadlines); and
  • you will not ask us to forge documents, impersonate you in assessments, or otherwise engage in fraud.

By submitting a brief and accepting these terms, you acknowledge the caveat above. If you cannot use third-party writing under your rules, do not commission work for a prohibited purpose.

4. Delivery and acceptance

The Foundation and each consultation output are accepted when you approve them in the dashboard (or as otherwise recorded). A request for included corrections keeps the next consultation locked while we prepare a replacement output. The commission is delivered when the final consultation output has been delivered and accepted.

Agreed delivery dates assume timely payments, prompt review, and a complete brief. Delays you cause may extend timelines.

Documents uploaded before quotation are included only when listed by filename and cryptographic hash in the quote contract manifest. Documents uploaded after quotation are evidence or instructions, but do not amend scope unless we expressly accept them as a recorded contract addendum. The dashboard identifies that status.

5. Revisions

One compliance revision is included if the delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed brief and approved outline. Scope changes after outline approval may incur an additional fee, quoted before work continues. Dislike of an outcome beyond the agreed deliverable is not a compliance failure.

6. Fees and refunds

Public “from” prices describe defined entry scopes only. Your fixed quotation confirms the precise scope, source depth, timeline, and staged consultation fees before work begins. Each consultation fee unlocks the corresponding tranche of work. Other than the fixed onboarding fee, a consultation becomes bookable only after you review and accept the preceding output.

  • Full refund if we miss an agreed delivery deadline without an agreed extension, or if after the included compliance revision the work still materially fails the agreed brief and approved outline.
  • No refund for change of mind after outline work has begun; for outcomes beyond the agreed deliverable; or for use (or misuse) of the work contrary to rules that govern you.
  • Partial refunds for work already completed at earlier consultations are assessed against value delivered, where a refund is otherwise due under these terms.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

Contact us at info@essayatelier.net before opening a card or bank dispute. We keep dashboard records (status, uploads, correspondence, and payment markers) as evidence of delivery. Filing a chargeback without first seeking resolution may delay or limit further service on open commissions.

8. Confidentiality and privacy

We treat briefs and client identity as confidential. Personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR — see our Privacy Policy and Cookie policy.

9. Limitation of liability

Essay Atelier is not liable for institutional discipline, professional outcomes, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of commissioned project work. Our aggregate liability for a commission is limited to the fees you paid for that commission.
